          Comments about EIV Golden Compass:

It really is a shame that Newline Cinema have ignored the international audience that devoured this movie; instead looking only to the USA performance as a benchmark - committment to quality versions of the following two books would make money for them - once the full series is out the boxset would become a collection staple for families all over the world.

Yet, one small group of people that generally don't contribute much to mainstream entertainment have had their say heard and put the brakes on this series before it got off the ground.

I really hope Newline get over this hurdle and start making movies for the masses; instead of listening to a devout few that have proven time and again that they don't really know what the public wants.
